History of the Bank“Anelik Bank” CJSC was founded in 1990 August 1, by enterprises and organizations of Light Industry as a Shareholding Commercial Bank. In 1996 the shareholding commercial bank “Anelik” was registered (License #9 of the Central Bank of the RA) and since then has been operating as “Anelik Bank” Limited Liability Company. In 2007 “Anelik Bank” LTD was reorganizaed into Closed Joint Stock Company. “Anelik Bank” CJSC is a universal commercial bank, which has an active participation in the social-economical area of the country. 1995-1996 • were the years when the Bank overcame the economic crisis;
1997-1998 · were the years of restructuring and stabilization;
1999 · The bank was included in the lending program of the German-Armenian Foundation
2000 · the Bank was awarded the prize of the Government of the RA for the high quality
2001 · the Bank became a member of the S.W.I.F.T. system;
2002 · The Bank was included in the lending program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development 2003 · Opening of “Arabkir” Branch of the Bank;
2004 · Opening of “Nor-Nork” Branch; 2005 · Lending Agreement with Commerzbank under guarantee of KfW
2006 · Opening of “Shengavit” branch of the Bank
2007 · Cofinancing loan agreement was signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for granting large/major loans.
2008 · Opening of Vanadzor branch of the Bank (c. Vanadzor).
2009 · The Bank attracted an institutional shareholder in the person of CreditBank S.A.L. of Lebanon. 2011 · Opening of Sevan branch of the Bank (c. Sevan). · Opening of Baghramyan branch of the Bank (c. Yerevan). · Opening of new Head Office of Anelik Bank CJSC (c. Yerevan) - Anelik Bank CJSC - 13 Vardanants str., Yerevan - New address new opportunities.
